Philip Merian
Philip Merian is a sound engineer and drummer based in Zurich. His work spans mixing, producing, and recording for both live and studio projects.
In 2022 he began studying Tonmeister at the Zurich University of the Arts, where his first independent project requests soon followed. A year later he completed an internship at Hyposound AG, and in 2024 he started working as a Front of House Engineer for various artists and venues. Alongside live work, he continues to develop his studio portfolio. In Fall 2025 he began his Master’s degree in Schulmusik II.
Beyond engineering, Philip is a drummer and currently performs with Wide Lense.
He combines technical precision with musical sensitivity, aiming to deliver clarity and energy in every concert and recording.
